Hey bestie 💛 thanks for trusting us with your laundry. We treat your clothes with care, but we need some ground rules so there is no drama later. Only the written terms count.

1 Acceptance of Service Terms
  • Agreement to Terms: Scheduling a pickup or using our Service indicates acceptance. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
  • Scope: Applies to all users, including residential and commercial customers, for any pickup, washing, folding, and delivery we provide.
  • Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted on our website. Continued use after updates means acceptance.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms plus any written service order or pricing details we provide are the entire agreement. No verbal or unspoken promises are binding. Only written terms are honored.
2 Preparing Your Laundry (Customer Responsibilities)
  • Machine-washable items only: Items must be suitable for standard machine washing and low-heat tumble drying. Do not include dry-clean only or special-care items unless arranged in advance. We do not examine each care label.
  • Empty pockets: Remove pens, markers, gum, candy, lip balm (including Carmex), cosmetics, coins, keys, sharp objects, and anything else that can damage clothing or equipment. We are not responsible for damage or lost items caused by items left in pockets.
  • No hazardous or heavily soiled items: Do not include items with heavy soil, mold, infestations (including bed bugs), or biohazards (human or animal waste, blood, etc.). We may refuse service for items we believe pose risk.
  • Laundry containers: Use a secure bag or container suitable for transport. We are not responsible for loss or damage of loose items that were not bagged.
  • Sorting and separation: We do not sort lights, darks, or delicates unless you sort and bag separately and inform us. Provide separate bags for separate loads.
  • Special instructions: Any special washing instructions must be provided when placing the order. We will try to accommodate reasonable requests agreed upon in advance. We cannot guarantee requests made after pickup and are not liable if instructions were not provided upfront.
3 Scheduling, Pickup & Delivery
  • Scheduling orders: Schedule through our website or by contacting us. We may require minimal notice and will confirm a pickup date and time window.
  • Pickup: Doorstep pickup at your provided address. You must ensure laundry is ready by the scheduled time. You are responsible for access to secured buildings.
  • Delivery: Delivery back to your specified address at the agreed time window. Any specific delivery requirements must be arranged when the order is placed, not after pickup.
  • Unattended pickup or drop-off: If you authorize pickup or delivery without you present, you assume responsibility before pickup and after delivery. We are not liable for theft, loss, or damage outside our possession.
  • Missed pickups or delivery issues: Reschedule or cancel with sufficient notice when possible. If our driver arrives and the laundry is not available or access is not possible, we may charge a missed pickup fee up to $25. Repeat delivery attempts may incur additional fees if caused by customer circumstances.
  • Service area: Available in designated Georgia areas including Savannah, Pooler, Statesboro, and surrounding communities. Additional charges may apply outside standard areas.
4 Pricing and Payment Terms
  • Price by weight: Charged per pound. Current rates and any minimums are listed on our website or provided at scheduling. Orders below minimum may be charged at the minimum.
  • Weight determination: Laundry is weighed after pickup at our facility. Our measurements are final for billing purposes.
  • Additional charges: Some items may incur flat fees (comforters, duvets, rugs, specialty items). We will notify you if such items are found.
  • Payment timing: Payment is due once weighed and before cleaning begins. You authorize us to charge the card on file for full amount when weight and fees are determined.
  • Auto-pay and failed payments: Pickup and delivery service uses auto-payment with a card on file. We may postpone delivery until payment is received. Unpaid invoices may result in suspension and may be sent to collections after a reasonable period.
  • No refunds for completed service: Once washed, dried, and folded, we do not offer refunds. See the re-cleaning policy for quality issues.
  • Taxes: Prices are in U.S. dollars and may exclude applicable taxes or surcharges as required by law.
5 Cleaning Results and Re-Cleaning Policy
  • Stain removal: We do not guarantee removal of all stains. Some stains are permanent or may not respond to normal washing. We may treat stains when possible, but aggressive treatments can risk fabric damage.
  • Bright colors and delicates: We use color-safe practices, but cannot guarantee against color bleeding or transfer, especially if mixed colors are packed together or dyes are unstable.
  • Quality issues and rewash: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery for quality issues. Our first remedy is re-cleaning or re-folding affected items at no additional cost. Rewash is the first remedy.
  • No cash refunds: We do not offer cash refunds for completed services. Any compensation is limited by the Limitation of Liability section.
6 Damaged Items and Wear & Tear
  • Normal wear and tear: Washing and drying can cause fading, shrinking, stretching, thinning, loss of elasticity, minor fraying, and small holes. We are not liable for damage attributable to item weakness, age, or manufacturer defects.
  • Damage from items left in laundry: We are not responsible for damage caused by foreign objects left in pockets or mixed into the load (pens, makeup, gum, screws, sharp objects, etc.).
  • Color bleeding and shrinkage: We cannot guarantee against bleeding or shrinkage. These are inherent risks and often stem from manufacturing and fabric properties.
  • Accessories and embellishments: We are not responsible for loss or damage to buttons, zippers, beads, sequins, ribbons, or attachments.
  • Items we cannot clean: If an item is too risky to clean, we may skip it and return it with a note. We may alter handling to reduce risk, at our discretion.
  • Notification of damage: Notify us as soon as possible, preferably within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
7 Lost or Missing Items
  • Bulk processing acknowledgment: We do not count or list each garment at pickup. We track by order, not itemized inventory.
  • Reporting missing items: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery if you believe something is missing. We will search our facility and review records.
  • Unrecoverable loss: If loss is confirmed due to our error, we will provide a resolution per the Limitation of Liability section. If we have no evidence the item was received or lost on our end, we will not assume responsibility.
  • Unattended pickup or drop-off: We are not responsible for items missing before pickup or after delivery when unattended service is authorized.
  • Unclaimed items: If we cannot contact you or arrange delivery, we will hold items at least 14 days. Items may be considered abandoned and donated or disposed of per Georgia law.
8 Limitation of Liability
  • Maximum reimbursement per garment: If an item is lost or irreparably damaged and we accept responsibility, liability will not exceed $50 per garment.
  • Maximum aggregate liability: For any single order, total liability is capped at $200 or the actual charge of that order, whichever is greater. Under no circumstance will liability exceed $200 plus a refund of the service fee for that order.
  • Exclusions: No liability for items left in pockets, pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, color loss, bleeding, shrinkage, or missing items with no evidence of receiving. No consequential or special damages.
  • No other warranties: Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties beyond these Terms.
  • Customer duty to mitigate: Report issues promptly and do not worsen damage before reporting.
9 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
  • Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
  • Jurisdiction: Legal actions must be brought exclusively in Georgia courts, with venue in the appropriate county.
  • Dispute resolution: Please contact us first to resolve concerns informally. If litigation occurs, the prevailing party may recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs where allowed. We may require mediation or arbitration consistent with Georgia law, with notice.
10 Miscellaneous Provisions
  • Right to refuse service: We may refuse service for legitimate reasons such as repeated violations, staff abuse, or risk, and will not refuse on unlawfully discriminatory grounds.
  • Privacy: We handle your personal information according to our Privacy Policy on our website and do not sell your data.
  • Severability: If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be adjusted or severed, and the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No waiver: Not enforcing a term once does not waive future enforcement.
  • Entire agreement: These Terms, your confirmed order details, and any written addenda are the entire understanding. Changes must be in writing, including posted updates.

By using Lemon Wash & Fold Services, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you have questions, please contact us before scheduling service.
